My small garden, Volition, was accepted into FUSION Breakthrough Plus!!Please visit as she travels to The Art Gallery of Burlington, Ontario June 20 - September 2, 2024. She represent the beauty and strength of the women I met during the pandemic and one in particular. Volition is the Orchid for admiration and Centaury flower for personal will.
Nudibranch
My lovelies started with the need to meet a Banana Slug (you know those GIANT slimy slugs who live on Vancouver Island, BC). Then I bumped into Nudibranchs, small sea creatures who morph what they ingest into their supper power!! Who can resist all this greatness?

Sometimes I feel like my work is something I tripped over.
”oh sorry for that and what exactly are you?”
Tripping is a fall that does not happen, yet is jarring causing a small panic within the body. It wakes you up, your heart is racing and you open your eyes to a keener sight for what is around you.
Just as I think I know what I am doing as a person, artist, maker; I trip and my heart beats faster, I see things differently and there is another question to figure out.
