The flower series is based on enticement.
The viewer is lured in, capturing their imagination. The tactile experience or the anticipation of it builds the excitement. The wish, or need to hold or touch is created and contradicted with the reluctance, fear of hurting, damaging the piece. The viewer is thus engaged and becomes a participant in the "life" of the work.
